About me

It started as an attempt to gain better work-life balance, then it became a passion.  I picked up the pencil and paint brush in my late 40's and began taking classes with wonderful Columbia and Charleston artists who would share their time and talent.  When I turned 50 I thought, "It's time to get serious about this."  On that birthday I gave myself a gift. It was the nod that spending time to grow my art skills was the right thing to do for my future.  I'm an "all in" kind of person, and I have committed to pursuing this path while understanding I am very early in this journey.  I have so much to learn and appreciate the generous spirits and patient people who continue to guide and counsel me as I learn about a whole new world, the world of art - Cathy Love
